Sunbeam International College (Sunbeam) is an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID: operating under the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework located in the heart of Adelaide city in South Australia and Burwood. NSW. This is a regulated framework which is administered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Code: 03951F). Sunbeam is an approved organisation to offer services to international student. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Academic Coordinator to oversee the academic operations of Sunbeam International College. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth delivery of courses, compliance with ASQA standards, and provide support to trainers, assessors, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day academic operations of Sunbeam.
  • Ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support trainers and assessors with academic guidance and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide academic support where needed.
  • Manage timetables, scheduling, and course resources.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training and assessment materials.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and stakeholders when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – not mandatory.
  • Experience in a similar academic coordination or compliance role within an RTO.
  • Strong knowledge of VET sector regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
