About the role
The Digital Marketing Officer will provide advice on best practice content and digital marketing practices as it supports stakeholders and customers as part of the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Council’s websites.
This is an amazing opportunity of up to 12 months to really make a difference as you support a number of projects and programmes and the delivery of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
About You
The Digital Marketing Officer role is the primary point of contact between Digital Marketing and its internal stakeholders. Your ability to solve problems and provide solutions will assist you to deliver outstanding results for website optimisations, digital marketing campaigns and content updates.
To be successful in this position you will need a strong digital marketing background, be confident and results driven, and have excellent communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can effectively manage competing priorities.
**Experience**:
Strong writing skills and working knowledge of SEO
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 principles
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, AHREFs and other digital tools
Experience with CMS such as Drupal
Tertiary qualification in digital marketing, communications, marketing, public relations or other related fields combined with proven industry experience (typically at least 3 years).
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $85,045.18 to $93,679.62 (includes salary + super)
This opportunity is a temporary engagement for 12 months.
