**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are currently seeking a
**Superintendent (Civil & Rail Maintenance) **to join our growing team based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. You will be responsible for managing the project execution and delivery, providing advice and support to our Civil & Rail Maintenance team, whilst utilising your experience in detailed earthworks, vegetation removal, rail maintenance (including hi-rail, LSL and mining load out facilities) and drainage to deliver a quality product for Yurra Pty Ltd and our client.
- Managing labour, equipment, and materials for the duration of projects.
- Completing field time with supervisors and crew providing leadership in the field and identifying operational areas for review and improvement.
- Managing the project health and safety performance by leading by example and ensuring all works are conducted in line with HSE management plan.
- Providing technical support
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating day to day works
- Overseeing planned work scopes and ensuring job completion is constructed in accordance with relevant specifications and procedures.
- Coordinating with the Project Manager and engineering team to ensure work crews are adequately resourced to complete their jobs safely
- Promoting a positive culture by leading by example, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and engineers
- Liaising with clients, Yurra management and client regularly
- Attending weekly client progress meetings and maintaining a positive relationship with the client,
- Accurate review of data and compilation of reports for distribution internally and to Client.

**ABOUT YOU**
- C-Class Driver’s License (minimum)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Superintendent or Leadership role
- Certificate IV Leadership & Management (or similar)
- Autonomous worker who can adapt and work flexibly with business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to interpret and follow design models and engineering drawings
- Proficient in the full MS Office Suite
- Commitment to safe work habits and our core values

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Rio Tinto site access inductions
- Experience in rail industry
- Experience in Project Management
