Chandler Macleod are partnering with a leading name in the Mining Sector in the recruitment of a Rail Shutdown Superintendent on either a 2/1 or Even Time roster.

Working as part of a high profile team, you will work with stakeholders throughout the business, responsible for planning & managing the execution of shutdowns across track, civil and signaling works. You will have rail experience in scoping, planning, preparation and execution of shutdowns, managing teams in the safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities:

- Planning and executing shutdowns across the rail infrastructure
- Development of rail methodologies in line with company guidelines and industry "Best Practice"
- Working with contractors to review proposals and ensure safe execution of the scopes of work
- Supervising contractor & sub-contractors during execution of works
- Single point of contact for events management including Hazards, Near Misses or Actuals

About You:

- You will have a passion for safety
- Leadership experience within mining rail infrastructure
- Experience managing shutdowns within the rail sector
- Strong knowledge of design drawings
