IDEXX is seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Facilities Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art, custom-designed laboratory in Brisbane and manage facilities across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia pacific region. This is a pivotal role that ensures our infrastructure, services, and operations support the evolving needs of our business and teams.
**What You’ll Be Driving**:
**Facility Excellence**: Ensure our offices, laboratories, and distribution centre's across ANZ are operating at peak performance.
**Operational Leadership**: Take charge of work orders, preventative maintenance, vendor relationships, procurement, and service agreements — keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.
**Project Involvement**: Play a key role in regional initiatives and lend your expertise to global projects that shape the future of IDEXX.
**Subject Matter Expertise**: Be the go-to authority on facilities systems, equipment maintenance, safety standards, building codes, hazard management, and commissioning processes.
What you will need to succeed
5+ years of related experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple facilities across different locations remotely.
Strong project/program management skills with knowledge in use of project management tools.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, customers, vendors, and staff.
Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarms, Sprinkler systems, Generators, Lab Equipment
Building automation systems and asset management experience desired.
Must be "hands-on" and assist in completing maintenance work.
