- Job Description SummaryNew opportunity to join us here at Service Stream
- About the Role We have a newly created role for an Asset Manager to join our Transport division. You will be the key technical representative for Service Stream supporting the Outback and APY Lands contracts in South Australia and have the opportunity to support the wider growing Transport business as required.

This role will be based out of our Transport Network Intelligence Operations Centre (NIOC) at our modern Head Office, directly across from Southern Cross Station, with travel to SA as required to support our delivery team in Port Augusta.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing the maintenance and management of unsealed road assets.- Developing and implementing strategic asset management plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity.- Providing leadership and direction to remote teams, ensuring consistent and effective asset management practices.- Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor road conditions and address any issues promptly.- Introducing and implementing technology solutions to address remote management challenges.- Shaping and influencing the direction and programs for unsealed road maintenance.- Mentoring and guiding remote teams to enhance their skills and performance.- Preparing and presenting reports on asset performance and maintenance activities.

About you

You will also have:
- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent (highly desirable).- Proven experience in road asset management, specifically with unsealed roads.- Expertise in introducing and leveraging technology solutions for remote asset management.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Australian driver’s licence.
