**Production Planner**:
**About the role**:
Come join our manufacturing site in Cavan as a key member of the Planning team. The team is the key point of contact for our schedulers, production and logistics staff, where you will deliver critical outcomes each day.

In addition, you will also:

- Plan and monitor production conditions and manufacturing requirements daily
- Liaise with Shop floor, Scheduling team and Customer Service Officers, to obtain forecasts of future production
- Allocate workload and negotiate timeframes for programmed deliveries
- Ongoing communication with the production and logistics team to monitor production capabilities to plan accordingly
- Manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels, to ensure a consistent production and delivery function
- Drive continuous improvement to support high performance and quality standards
- Work closely with Production Supervisors, Operators, and key stakeholders within Sales, Detailing and Production Functions.

**About your experience**:
It’s important that you have a can-do attitude and reprioritise as the day progresses, managing large projects and changing customer demand.

You will also ideally have:

- Planning experience within the Manufacturing industry is essential
- Knowledge of fabricating elements and reinforcing
- Welding experience
- Strong reasoning and decision-making ability
- Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Experience with Sparks JD Edwards is highly desirable
