**About the role**

Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity now exists for a Production Supply Planner to join our growing supply chain team. Reporting to the Supply Planning Supervisor, the Supply Planner is responsible for interpreting forecasts in order to deliver a tactical production plan. The Supply Planner will also work closely with the purchasing and operational teams to manage exceptions, balance demand priorities, improve work practices, and mitigate both capacity and material constraints.

We have experienced great success with the introduction of a dynamic Supply Planning team and are looking forward to welcoming our newest member into this critical, high potential role within our growing business.

**Duties**:

- Interpret demand forecast to generate supply plans aligned to operational process.
- Materials management for fulfillment of operations.
- Identify and escalate capacity and capability issues through Supply Chain and Operations for corrective action.
- Chair and maintain regular Supply Planning meetings with Operations teams ensure alignment to fulfill demand forecasts.
- Ensure that supply plans align and support customer requirements and KPIs (DIFOT, Fill Rate), whilst balancing inventory strategies, constrained material supply and capacity constraints.
- Ensure tactical plans are routinely handed off at agreed intervals to scheduling teams for production execution.
- Back-up planner for the business remanufacturing team.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience within a Supply Planner role is essential
- Highly capable in the use of MS Office Suite
- Good working knowledge of an ERP System
- Self-motivation, positive attitude, great attention to detail, willing to use initiative and strive to work effectively with various people and areas of the business
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent would be highly regarded
