Our reputable client is a large** Federal Government Agency,** located in **Adelaide CBD. **Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proven** APS4 Service Desk Analyst **to join their team for a** 6 month fixed-term contract + potential 6 month extension.**
**About the Opportunity**
Your focus will be to provide high quality customer service to Departmental staff and members of the public, by:
- Providing Level 1 IT Support and assisting staff with HR queries (such as pay and entitlements, travel, WHS, Security etc)
- Using investigatory skills to determine the nature of a call while building rapport
- Following and documenting prescribed procedures
- Working to a roster answering phones calls between 8am - 4.30pm (ACST) and managing a ticket workload
- Performing additional tasks as required from time to time by the Operations Manager

- Experience in a call centre environment
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Demonstrated lateral thinking and problem solving skills
- Coach and train newer/less experienced members of a small work team
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision making in the work area
