We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced supervisor willing to make the step up or Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at Highgate One, which includes multiple Italian restaurants. As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and leadership skills to grow within a dynamic and thriving environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Support**: Assist the Venue Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Staff Management**: Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service, provide training and guidance as needed, and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Customer Service**: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries and feedback professionally, and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- **Financial Management**: Assist in monitoring and controlling costs, optimizing sales opportunities, and achieving financial targets through effective budgeting and resource management.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure consistency in food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- **Event Coordination**: Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and enhance the overall guest experience.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Complete administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll processing, reporting, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient operations and decision-making.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service and driving revenue growth.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
