**The Advisor (Graduate) positions key responsibilities are**:

- Undertake research and prepare a range of high-quality written material including correspondence, briefings, presentations, reports, project plans and discussion papers.
- Actively participate in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders within and across government and broader human services networks.
- Contribute to a professional environment through personal commitment to ethical behaviour, staff wellbeing, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a performance and customer focused culture that delivers results to support the vision and values of the department, and to achieve its objectives.
- As a member of the team, undertake tasks allocated by the Manager in a constantly changing work environment to support innovation and efficient delivery.
- Maintain records and files as necessary to support the work program of the team, and comply with departmental record keeping, privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Build and sustain positive relationships through effective communication with team members, clients and stakeholders, and private sector entities by anticipating and being responsive to client and stakeholder needs and expectations.

**Role Specific/Technical Skills**:
You will hold qualifications (or be near completion of your study) in an area relevant to the development of strategy, policy, regulation of services, administration of funding or business administration.
You will be open to being placed in different work programs to maximise your experience in Disability, Seniors and Carers. The Team that you will be placed with will provide practical exposure to a variety of different types of work suited to your qualifications, areas of interest and future potential.
