We currently have opportunities in our **new** Cannon Hill based Academy. In this position you will need to deliver and maintain the training of employees to verify competency of work operations in a safe and efficient manner. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all tasks associated with Academy training are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations. Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture framework is expected.

**Key Duties**
- Coach and develop others
- Develop and promote training for staff
- Develop team commitment and cooperation
- Ensure staff comply with food safety procedures
- Model high standards of performance and behaviour
- Manage team performance
- Ensure facilities are clean and hygienic
- Ensure smooth work flow
- Implement ESS brand standards
- Oversee practical training sessions
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Maintain personal presentation standards

**The Person**
- Experience in Hospitality Management
- Experience in training and coaching
- Sound computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in workplace health and safety issues
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Good communication skills
- Hold training certificate of TAE40116 or equivalent industry experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Experience in a registered training organisation (RTO)
- Prior OH&S training and / or accreditation
