The Dispute Resolution Branch (DRB), Department of Justice is seeking a hands-on Training Support Officer to join our team and help support the delivery of our training services

In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our training operations, ensuring seamless administrative processes and supporting training participants to complete their course and achieve National Mediation Accreditation.

The Dispute Resolution Branch

DRB is a state-wide program, tasked with delivering accessible, low-cost, fair and timely non-adversarial dispute resolution services to the Queensland community. These services are provided in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990.

The DRB currently does this through the following service streams which are tailored to the specific needs of different client groups:

- Community voluntary mediation and dispute resolution
- Court ordered mediation for minor civil disputes referred from QCAT
- Child Protection Conferencing
- Adult Restorative Justice Conferencing; and
- Training in mediation, dispute resolution skills and conflict management

DRB provides services in seven locations around the state, with leadership and corporate support functions based in Brisbane.

This exciting role is a 12-month temporary position with the possibility of extension.
