**About the Role**
We are seeking an HSE Assistant to join the BGC Housing Group team based in Osborne Park. The role provides our HSE team with administrative support, database management, training coordination, data analysis, inspections, audits, and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and be part of a team focused on continuous improvement for safety.

This will be a permanent part time opportunity working your choice of any 3 days a week, between Monday - Thursday.

**Your role will include**:

- Providing administrative support for the HSEQ Management System and wider team to support improvements to align with best practises
- Provide timely and accurate assistance to the HSEQ Team, maintaining the HSEQ Management System
- Ensuring all HSEQ systems, document control systems and training requirements are compliant & updated accordingly
- Maintain HSEQ databases, training matrix and integrated management system for document control
- Analyse and input data to create reports for the HSEQ Team
- Assist and participate in conducting construction site audits and inspections
- Other office tasks, as required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in the HSEQ field with an administration background (preferred)
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation
- Experience in construction or similar industry (preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, particularly with Safety Data Management Systems, MS Office and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
