**TEN Recruitment **have a fantastic opportunity for a site based
**HSE Advisor **to work for a well-established engineering consultancy. This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity, flying from Perth to the project site on a 2:1 FIFO roster. It is a fantastic opportunity for a HSE professional looking to secure a career within the civil construction industry.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Provide support and direction on all HSE related matters.
- Assist with incident management, risk mitigation, injuries and return to work management.
- Supervise construction activities providing advice to minimise risks and ensure compliance with OHS legislation, established workplace rules and the HSE Management Plan.
- Conduct health and safety inductions for new employees.
- Be the key implementer of HSEQ strategies and the focal point for any related queries.
- Coordinate and contribute to regular pre-start safety meetings to drive continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures.
- Collate materials for toolbox talks, HSE-related meetings and pre-starts.
- Schedule intermittent auditing of ISO accreditations to ensure continuous compliance.
- Liaise with Project Manager to discuss ways to implement Work, Health and Safety systems.
- Continuously encourage and promote a “safety-first” culture in the workplace.

**Essential criteria**:

- 5+ years experience in a HSE Advisory position.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety are advantageous.
- Previous experience within either the civil construction, mining or oil and gas industries.
- Proven Risk Management Services experience.
- Strong knowledge of HSE practices and current legislation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
