About this role

This role is based in the Fluor Perth Corporate office and sits within the Corporate HSE team. The role will support both the Perth Corporate office and project sites working alongside the Corporate HSE Manager.

You will need flexibility to travel to site as there will be occasional site travel and adhoc site HSE relief. This is a 40 hour a week with any additional site hours compensated.

You will also have a good working knowledge of site HSE in a construction environment; have good writing skills to support the ongoing development, review and update of the HSE Management System; and be comfortable being front and centre delivering any face-to-face training.

**In this role you will**:

- Assist with initial project start-up, including the development of project

specific documentation.
- Assist with the pre-qualification and mobilisation of contractors to

Projects.
- Conduct Corporate and Project audits.
- Work with Project teams to provide HSE support.
- Deliver inductions and HSE management system training.
- Build relationships with Project team members and clients.
- Lead, coach and mentor team members in HSE to ensure delivery

against objectives.
- Provide occasional Project HSE relief.
- Lead incident investigations.

**Minimum qualifications and licensing**:

- Have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience, including both site and

corporate office experience.
- Have a Health and Safety qualification - minimum Certificate IV

Occupational Health and Safety. An environmental qualification in
addition to the HS qualification will be highly regarded.
- Be a qualified HSE auditor.
- Qualified in either ICAM or TAPROOT root cause analysis

methodologies.
- Current driver’s licence.

**You will have the following skills**:

- A strong HSE systems background.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop HSE

documentation.
- Be familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a fast paced, high
- performance team
- environment.
- Be a constructive and persuasive communicator with the ability to seek

and provide practical solutions.
- Experience working in a range of contracting structures including, IPT,

EPC, EPCM and PMC environments is desirable.
- Comfortable with delivering face-to-face training and developing

training packages.
- Strong skills in MS Office packages.
