We are currently recruiting a** HSE Principal **to join our Head Office in Osborne Park, Perth. Reporting to the Executive HSE Manager, this role is responsible for assisting our Corporate HSE team in completion of tasks essential to the business functional needs and as required provide operational support to project teams to deliver safe projects nation-wide.

**About the Role**:
This exciting and dynamic role will involve a hybrid of corporate HSE tasks and operational support tasks, including, but not limited to the following:

- Completion of pre-contract/ tendering HSE documentation that requires technical HSE knowledge and experience e.g. Client specific Management Plans
- Review pre-employment medicals
- Review Subcontractor HSE Pre-Qualifications submissions
- Assist with collection and analysis of HSE reports
- Conduct Company HSE training including, off-site and on-site
- Assist with the review, development and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System
- Maintain the Company HSE Legal Register and send notifications of any changes that impact the Company/ Projects
- Auditing the effective implementation of HSE requirements on our projects
- As required assist with project launch, including development of project specific HSE start-up checklists, completion of deliverables e.g. facilitate risk workshops and coordinating meetings to ensure successful mobilisation
- Offer technical support and coach project teams in ensuring project specific and management system HSE requirements are well understood and implemented
- Review incident investigations and ensure root causes and corrective actions are identified and lessons learned communicated across the Company
- Visit projects and complete inspections and reviews e.g. high risk task inspections, Company change management implementation etc.
- Providing off-site and on-site support to projects as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated experience in a Corporate HSE role in the **Civil Contractor** or **Construction** industry with exposure to remote construction sites -**_Must_**:

- HSE advisor field experience -**_Must_**:

- Degree qualified in Health, Safety and Environment space or similar - **_Preferred_**:

- Experience in pre-employment medical reviews**_ - Preferred_**:

- Experience in developing HSE related tendering documentation **_- Preferred_**:

- High-level technical safety skills, including incident investigation (ICAM) and Lead Auditing capability
- Collaborative and team based player
- An energetic, autonomous person who can adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Ability to travel to national sites as required
