**About the role**
As Project Officer (Capital Works) you will be part of the Engineering and Technical team in the Works and Field Services Branch and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Capital Projects and provide assistance to the Works and Fields services teams. Your main focus will be on assisting project managers in the delivery of the Annual Capital Investment Program.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high level planning and project scopes
- Adhering to project management methodology and relevant procedures
- Identification and recording of potential risks to projects
- Assist with on and off maintenance inspections
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Project Management
- Relevant qualification or experience in Civil Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of local authority practices and procedures
- The ability to be resilient and agile

This is a Permanent position, Level 4 with a salary package commencing at $82, 260 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
