As the Principal Project and Grants Officer, you will deliver grants programs and other high-level projects for the Office for Veterans (OFV).
**You will contribute by**:
- leading the delivery of OFV grants programs and other projects and the requiredgovernance arrangements
- coordinating and executing all aspects of grant project management and delivery
- representing the OFV in stakeholder interactions. You will use your significant experience in managing and delivering grant projects to undertake this critical role. As the Principal Project and Grants Officer, you will require excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience including the ability to manage conflict and negotiate positive outcomes.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop and oversee the management of the end-to
- end grants process for the Office for Veterans' grants programs including program set-up, administration, stakeholder engagement, promotion, assessment, contracting, monitoring benefits and evaluation.
- Develop, manage and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders particularly across government and the veteran community.
- Assess, analyse and provide advice regarding the delivered outcomes of grants and projects.
- Develop, monitor and report on budgets and progress reports to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget and develop associated briefing notes and other correspondence.
- Manage and develop a small grants team by fostering quality service practices and effective performance management.
- Identify opportunities to leverage the program in consultation with key program stakeholders.
