**Service Technician**: Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom
- This person specification is designed to clarify the day-to-day and general responsibilities for the above referenced position. Due to the size and nature of our business the company reserves the right to vary or amend the duties and responsibilities of the post holder at any time according to the needs of the business.**_General purpose_**_ the service, repair and calibration of all customer owned and hire fleet equipment._

Essential duties and responsibilities _**
- _Service and repair of all HYTORC hydraulic and pneumatic pumps / jGuns / Electric tools / Hydraulic wrenches and all associated accessories._
- _ Completion of all customer repairs, including the production and processing of all paperwork including function tests, PAT tests and any additional supporting documents. Contacting customers & territory managers where required to discuss service works._
- _ Calibration of customer equipment & hire fleet and record keeping of recalibration of test equipment._
- _ Keeping a log of stock control and stock reorder levels._
- _ USA shipment, including breakdown, coordination, serial numbering and calibration._
- _ Completing any additional tasks associated with weekly USA shipments and assistance in the warehouse if/where required._
- _ Warehouse/Workshop maintenance - General housekeeping and tidiness of warehouse / calibration room and surrounding area including a weekly sweep/mop and clean of work benches_
- _ Quality control, to create general checks of hire fleet, customer repairs and USA shipment._
- _ General administration where required, for example, completion of NCR report and follow up_
- _ Actively participating in workbench meetings whilst generating positive ideas to improve working practise_
- _ Attending site and completing call-outs where required outside of normal working hours._

- To implement and disseminate all appropriate H&S legislation and guidance to ensure that statutory safety regulations and safe practise is complied with relating to technician skills and qualifications_
- All associated reviews/checks including: _
- _General housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness._
- _ Appropriate use of PPE, safety glasses and safety shoes to be worn at all time._
- _ Adhering to training provided within all working areas._
- _ Ensuring all items are compliant with HYTORC standards._
- _ Forklift use._
- _ calibration equipment_
- _ re certification calibration equipment_
- _ weekly checks_
- _ Storage suitability._
- _ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations._
- _ Monthly checks of technician tools and working environment to ensuring good safe working order._
- _ Carrying out quality inspections where necessary._
