**The Role**

The Tech Lead (TL) actively structures and facilitates improvement of the engineering function within the squads by focussing specifically on improving quality, velocity, architecture and collaboration. The tech lead will strive to work with Architects to ensure that High level design aligns to enterprise architecture and work with product owners & scrum master to ensure a sprint plan is in place.
- Delivery Leadership - Partnering with architects, scrum masters and other key stakeholders to work towards architectural alignment and delivery excellence.
- Engineering leadership - Build and maintain core engineering practice performance metrics.
- Actively contribute to the library of artefacts for the owned platforms.
- Providing development opportunities for developers, coaching them on learning paths, architecture decisions and best practice.
- Empower and support engineers on a day-to-day basis to boost their performance in the squads
- Identify technical design improvements

**About you**
- Experience with ADLC processes such as code versioning, packaging, test driven development, continuous integration, test automation, code analysts and code quality metrics.
- Strong understanding of team leadership with proven experience in uplifting and driving delivery.
- Actively seeking out ways to broaden your own personal technical knowledge with a passion for learning new concepts, tools and products.
