DXC Technology have a great career opportunity available for a Team Leader to join their Application Delivery team, delivering to primary clients in the manufacturing industry with secondary clients across the DXC commercial delivery portfolio. This is a remote working position, though proximity to the Wollongong region is desirable.

The role will be responsible for the management of a team of 10 or more team members located in multiple locations - onsite and offshore.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Supervises the Application team in building and maintaining strong, positive business partner relationships with the client
- Allocates, prioritises work to team members and manages progress to ensure Service Level Objectives are met;
- Be point of escalation for major incidents 24X7
- Resolves issues related to staffing and estimating, client concerns
- Collaborates with other support teams to provide seamless end to end services to client
- Seeks continuous improvement and effectiveness of delivery by searching and driving new ideas
- Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Three or more years of leadership experience included
- Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management
- Leadership skills to coordinate, oversee, develop and lead team members
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience working in a DevOps team
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment
- Experience managing team in multiple locations
- Knowledge of OTM (Oracle Transport Management) Application COTS package
- Knowledge of webMethods version 9.x
- Familiar with Service Now

**Work Environment**
- Virtual First environment, primarily working remotely from home.
