Namron Housing and Disability Supports is a registered NDIS provider providing supports to NDIS clients in their home as well as in the community. We provide supports tailored to the needs of clients with the goal of meeting their needs and also improving the quality of life for the client.

We now need to find a new team member to work with two clients in Brisbane one of who has high care needs as is in a powered wheelchair.

The role is full time with shifts being 5 days a week. Shifts will include active night shifts, regular weekend shifts plus 3 shifts during the week. The ability to do active nights and weekends are non-negotiable.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Ability to work independently in a clients home
- Provide overnight care to the clients in their home
- 1-2 active nights
- Provide the required supports for high care, including catheter care; bowel care; hoisting and medication management
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the clients
- Provide emotional support and be a good listener
- Assist clients to have a better quality of life
- Assist with day to day running of the house
- Be proactive in identifying client needs and improving their day to day health

Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Successful applicant MUST have:
Minimum of Certificate IV in disability support/aged care

2+ years experience working in quadriplegia/high care

Outgoing personality and good English language skills

Be a permanent resident or citizen or holding an eligible temporary visa with full-time work rights

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
