Empowering Health Care Services is a reputable healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a motivated and caring Female Support Worker to join our team and help our clients with community access. This position is part-time and requires availability from 9 am to 3 pm.

**Responsibilities**:
Community Access Support: Assist clients with disabilities in accessing various community facilities, events, and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Personalized Care: Provide one-on-one support to clients, catering to their specific needs, preferences, and goals, while promoting independence and empowerment.

Emotional and Social Support: Engage with clients in a friendly and empathetic manner, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting social interactions within the community.

Transportation Assistance: Accompany clients during outings, ensuring they reach their desired destinations safely and on time.

Activity Planning: Collaborate with the care team to plan and organize community activities that align with clients' interests and therapeutic goals.

Document and Report: Maintain accurate records of the activities and progress of clients, reporting any incidents or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor.

**Requirements**:
Female Support Worker: Due to specific client preferences and care needs, this position requires a female applicant.

Relevant NDIS Checks: All applicants must have completed and passed all relevant National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) checks, including police background checks and working with children checks.

Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting dignity and respect at all times.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively interact with clients, their families, and the care team.

Reliability and Punctuality: A dependable and punctual work ethic is crucial to ensure consistent and reliable support for our clients during scheduled hours.

Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to think on your feet, handle unexpected situations, and find creative solutions to challenges that may arise during community outings.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the changing needs and preferences of clients and the organization, while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $39.26 - $86.38 per hour
