As an Academic Programs Officer at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll be at the heart of one of Australia's leading psychology schools. You'll manage and administer a range of coursework and graduate research programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for students across various psychology disciplines. This role offers you the chance to support world-class teaching and research while developing your expertise in academic program management within a dynamic university environment.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- **Manage Academic Programs**:Coordinate day-to-day activities associated with coursework and graduate research programs, ensuring equity of experience for all students.
- **Administer Student Services**:Handle admissions, enrolments, and respond to student enquiries across various psychology programs.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Maintain integrity and security of examinations and results, adhering to university policies and procedures **.**
- **Drive Continuous Improvement**:Develop and maintain administrative systems to enhance support for teaching staff and students.

**You may also**:
- Hold an undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Have experience in planning and completing tasks within strict timeframes.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
