** Internal Account Manager** to join our team in
**Brisbane (North of CBD)** and support our business growth by maintaining and growing relationships with our customers.
As an
**Internal Account Manager**, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers and ensuring they receive exceptional service. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and drive revenue through cross-selling and upselling.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the company.
Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Identify opportunities for growth and work with the sales team to develop strategies to expand business with existing customers.
Communicate with customers to understand their needs, requirements, and preferences, and provide them with product and service solutions that meet their needs.
Collaborate with internal teams such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the building materials industry and stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and developments.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management to help inform business decisions.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and customer feedback in our CRM system.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management, sales or customer service in the building materials industry, timber experience is highly regarded.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence customers.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and drive revenue.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
