Program Coordinator job in Melbourne with a statutory authority.

**Your new company**

A statutory authority responsible for protecting the environment. You’ll work with the Science team based in Melbourne.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Manager, you’ll:

- Lead and manage a small team & maintain internal and external partnerships, deliver research and development investments and to support the operations of organisations Chief Environmental Scientist
- Coordinate the delivery of research and development projects & initiatives, and support building and maintaining external science partnership
- Support the translation of scientific/technical information so that it can be understood by a range of audiences, including the public; contribute to the organisation's guidelines, technical and scientific reports, and papers

**What you'll need to succeed**

You’ll have tertiary qualifications in environmental sciences or a related discipline as well as:

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including building a shared sense of direction, clarifying priorities; identifies and responds proactively to strategic issues impacting the operating environment
- Excellent program or project management, communication skills and interpersonal skills
