Lotus People are delighted to bring to the market this all-encompassing and varied Office Management position within a leading engineering firm based in St Leonards.
Working across different disciplines and teams of the business, your role will be to effectively manage the office, provide leadership and support to a team and to provide personal assistant duties to Heads of Department, where required.
**THE ROLE**
This business are seeking a positive, can-do individual to join their team in the integral role of Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive self-starter to play a key role in the day to day operations of the office. The Office Manager is responsible for varied administrative duties including coordination of team events and assistance with basic administrative duties. A broad scope of duties that will keep you engaged and challenged and will see you as an integral member of the business
**DUTIES**
- Organise and coordinate team events
- Document control and management, including developing and maintaining office templates
- Provide Personal Assistant duties to the State Business Manager, including diary management and travel.
- Order and maintain office supplies and manage general office maintenance
- Administrative support in preparing reports and client tenders/submissions
- Manage office facilities and liaise with any contractors or suppliers

We are looking for an experienced and hands on Office Manager who thrives in a varied environment and enjoys working within a team. This is an opportunity which will see you work across all departments of the business, so strong communication skills, an upbeat and optimistic nature, and approachable front are paramount to the success of this role. Occasionally there will be the need to step in and support the direct reports, so someone without ideals of hierarchy will fit in well. Previous experience managing direct reports is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office support role will see you hit the ground running
- You will be organised and have a growth mindset, with a willingness to contribute ideas
- Exceptional organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and take initiative
- Experience in a small corporate office environment preferable, but attitude and work ethic will trump all experience for this one
