The roleAre you an excellent communicator with highly developed project management and stakeholder engagement skills? This role provides strategic leadership and direction to support implementation of the Queensland Sexual Health Framework and undertakes engagement and strategy setting/reviewing activities relating to sexual health, communicable diseases and other related matters. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing oversight of the administration of the Sexual Health Ministerial Advisory Committee and its associated Sub-Committees.
- Leading the development of annual implementation plans for the Queensland Sexual Health Framework, including monitoring, reviewing and biennial reporting.
- Providing expert advice and input into the development, implementation and review of statewide and national communicable diseases and other sexual health related policies, strategies, services and programs as required.
- Coordinating activities to review, update and report on the suite of Queensland BBV/STI Action Plans.

**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:

- comprehensive understanding of the contemporary health care environment.
- Highly developed project planning, time management and leadership skills related to the design and delivery of complex, sensitive, and time-critical system and state-wide projects.
- high level communication, negotiation, and liaison skills with a record of success in working across sectors.
- high level ability and achievement in the development and presentation of policy briefs, reports, information and background papers, cabinet submissions, and Departmental correspondence.
