**Your new company**

This Federal Government Intelligence Agency is a vital member of Australia’s national security community and oversees many functions including cyber security and foreign signals intelligence. Their mission is to protect Australia’s interests on both a national and international stage.

**Your new role**

Within Language Capability Operations as an LCO Administration Officer, you will be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex procedural, administrative and business support work.

You will be accountable for organising your workflow, making decisions within defined parameters relating to your area of responsibility and seeking guidance when required.

You will provide administrative support and will be required to share information, monitor work practices, set work priorities and develop local procedures. You will assist and support on-the-job training for newer and less experienced team members.

You will listen to internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and share information. You will be required to communicate with and respond to a range of stakeholders on moderately complex, sensitive and administrative issues.

You will maintain accurate record keeping and encourage others in LCO do the same. You will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

You will assist with ad hoc administrative and coordination tasks across the wider Language Capability area as and if required.
