Exciting new employment opportunity for an APS5 Program Officer in a busy high profiled Federal Government Department.
**Your new role**
In your new role you will be:
- Conducting research and analysis, and preparing reports and briefing notes, on cities policy and program management.
- Coordination of, and preparation of responses to reporting and briefing requests.
- Preparing ministerial submissions, briefings and correspondence.
- Working across the Cities Division to assist with City or Regional Deal negotiation and delivery.
- Identifying opportunities and challenges for cities across Australia, including capital, major and regional cities.
**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful you will need to have experience and skills to work on strategic policy advice. The position requires strong communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to investigate issues, gather evidence and think critically about different stakeholder perspectives to persuasively present potential solutions for Government consideration.
You must be an Australian Citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a baseline personnel security clearance.
