Within an APS Department, this division works to foster engagement among Australian universities, Australian businesses, and the investment market to drive outcomes for the Australian community. They oversee research policy, funding, and programs, with a particular focus on upskilling and driving innovation among the university community.
**Your new role**
Within this role as an APS5 Project Officer, you will provide high level support in an accurate and timely manner. The position requires a team oriented and highly motivated individual who can work under general direction with high levels of organisational skills. Your primary responsibilities are:
- Providing support for meetings including organising venues and hospitality, preparation, and assembly of meeting packs.
- Providing broad administration support including writing reports, managing briefs and submissions, records management, database management.
- Managing procurements and contracts
- Supporting project planning and development activities
- Conducting research and analysis
- Engaging with stakeholder
**What you'll need to succeed**
You must be an Australian citizen and ideally hold a minimum Baseline Security Clearance or be willing to obtain and maintain.
**What you'll get in return**
This position will be available as an initial 12-month non-going contract with a possible 6-month extension.
The position is located in North Canberra with close access to shops, cafes, and bars.
You will receive an attractive hourly rate inclusive of causal loading.
