**The Role**:
Based in our HQ Mascot campus, the Global Head of Safety will manage 5B’s Occupational, Health and Safety Program across all locations globally and will involve travel within Australia and internationally. We are a company founded on innovation, and the role will support 5B to continue to drive new technologies from concept to industrialisation. Safety is at the core of our innovation and must continue to be viewed as an enabler to the development of new processes and technologies. This role is responsible for continuing to drive a strong safety culture and environment for all employees, contractors, partners and customers. We are expanding rapidly globally through both direct expansion and via an ecosystem of partners and it is critical that we ensure compliance to local requirements as we expand.

**Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities**:

- Enable safe and rapid innovation to support product development from concept to full industrialisation
- Develop, implement and manage the Health and Safety Strategy across all 5B sites globally
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business at all levels; a natural leader, you will influence safety attitudes and behaviours globally.
- Work closely with all leaders, employees and safety representatives to shape the safety culture and model safe behaviours in all that we do.
- Develop and embed best practice programs globally including employee safety consultation, safe behaviour, hazard and risk management, compliance, education, intervention and program enhancements.
- Manage all incident reporting globally and ensure lessons learned are rapidly acted on
- Drive safety report to the Executive Team and Board.
- Ensure full compliance in all legal jurisdictions and nurture long-term relationships with key advisors in the various locations relevant to 5B.
- Work proactively with our customers, partners and subcontractors to have them mirror our exemplary safety practices.

**Are you our next All-Star?**
- You must be degree qualified in Business, Engineering or relevant degree with specialised safety certifications and post-graduation studies.
- At least five years of experience working globally in a Senior Safety Leadership role.
- Hands-on experience in an innovation focused business where safety is viewed as an enabler to rapid and safe product development
- Knowledge of safety best practices and experience working with relevant standards across various jurisdictions
