Are you passionate about aviation safety and quality management? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments? We're looking for a dedicated Quality & Safety Specialist to contribute to the success of Fixed Wing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations.
Based in Essendon, this pivotal role offers the chance to work alongside a talented team in ensuring that safety, quality, and environmental management systems are upheld to the highest standards. As a key player in the team, you'll support Fixed Wing EMS Contracts by driving the implementation of safety, quality, and environmental processes, ensuring continuous improvement, and leading efforts to address any challenges that arise in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain essential safety, quality, and environmental processes and procedures for Fixed Wing EMS Contracts.- Manage and respond to safety and quality incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken swiftly.- Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and audits to continuously improve our services.- Prepare and present reports at Safety Action Group Meetings and oversight committee meetings.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in quality and safety within a Fixed Wing Flight Operational environment.- Knowledge of CASR Part 119 and/or Part 133/135 Safety Management Systems, along with Work Health and Safety legislation.- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail.
