Talent International is working in partnership with a large government agency in seeking **Privacy & Governance Advisor,** to Join a well-supported team where you can **train team members, or learn from them, **(depending on your level of experience)** to reach your Privacy potential**, whilst supporting the change and implementation of the **Privacy by Design program**

**You will**:

- Provide advice and guidance on privacy and governance matters
- Participate in regular privacy networking meetings across the team **to share and gain ideas on privacy best practice**:

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks
- Monitor privacy compliance and identify areas for improvement

**Key Requirements / knowledge / experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar privacy / compliance role (Governance and Risk Management experience) - preferably in a large organization or government sector
- Strong knowledge of privacy and governance legislation and regulations
- Experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) and O365 suites of products and desire to learn more about them
- A 'thinking outside the box' attitude with a strong customer & team focus.
- Sound communication skills, with experience in liaising with key stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
