Specifically, as a Planning and Governance Manager not boxed in by job title
  • Supporting the management and coordination of end-to-end planning and delivery for all business initiatives, partnering with portfolio teams to ensure plans are strategically aligned
  • Partnering across the various squads to optimise ways of working to deliver rapid value to customers, including supporting on defining appropriate processes and tooling to unlock transparency and efficiency
  • Assisting in planning of change initiatives in line with business priorities, while gaining exposure to build, execution, and change processes.
  • Providing reporting and analytics to democratise business performance, including identification and rectification of any gaps or data quality issues
  • Support and inform content and narratives to inform appropriate governance processes and forums.
  • Defining and supporting implementation of initiatives to support a progressive, rewarding and customer centric culture
  • As required, support and coordination of reporting for AMP Bank GO for internal and external audiences
  • Working with the division LT to lead accountability and preparation for Quarterly Business Review Reporting
  • Working with the LT to coordinate and support annual strategic planning processes for AMP Bank GO
  • Undertake as necessary, tasks to support clarity and alignment across the AMP Bank GO LT to ensure focus and efficiency
  • From time-to-time, deliver key projects and initiatives as determined and directed by the Director of AMP Bank GO
What matters
  • Experience in contributing to team efforts and supporting a positive team culture with a focus on collaboration and delivery.
  • Basic project management skills, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines, while being aware of risks and issues.
  • Experience in supporting program delivery, working with various teams.
  • Understanding of project governance and controls to help deliver quality outcomes.
  • Willingness to work with different stakeholders to reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
  • Awareness of budget considerations in program management.
  • Developing stakeholder management skills, aiming to maintain effective relationships and align project activities with business objectives.
  • Communicating effectively with different audiences.
  • Experience in working with vendors and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ability to support Project Managers and other team members in program delivery.
  • Problem-solving skills to help maintain project momentum.
