**Practice Manager**

Everton Park Vet Surgery is an established veterinary practice in the inner-north suburbs of Brisbane, and we are looking for a fabulous new Practice Manager to join and lead our team We currently have 2 experienced vets with a team of nurses and have brand-new equipment since major renovations due to last year’s floods in 2022.

We have a strong focus on high levels of patient care with a commitment to the community, and pride ourselves on excellent preventative care and client education. We have a dedicated nurse running puppy schools, so there will be lots of opportunity for cute cuddles too

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting and coaching the team
- Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
- Stock management, rostering, and other practice administration tasks
- Managing business financials such as budgeting and P & L reporting
- Identify staff training needs
- Providing exceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
- Local marketing activities
- Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities

**The skills you will require**:
**Essential**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Desire to lead, engage and inspire a team
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Good business acumen
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Previous experience in a management role

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the veterinary/or medical industry
- Cert IV in Vet nursing or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience as a Vet Nurse
- Experience with Ezyvet
