Croydon Park Veterinary Clinic have been an integral part of the community for over 30 years. Our team enjoys building relationships and our caring approach allows us to understand our client’s needs. Our client base is small animals, exotic pets, birds and native animals.

We are a small animal hospital that currently offers a walk-in service to our clients, a free wildlife service, cat boarding and a puppy preschool. We are making some necessary changes including a fresh, new look by way of a clinic refurbishment and we will transition to appointment scheduling.

**The Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager to assist the lead veterinarian with achieving clinical and business success.
- Key responsibilities:_
- Support the team in executing the day-to-day operations to maximise efficiency and a smooth workflow
- Regular administrative duties to assist the lead veterinarian with the management of the hospital including wages, payroll, accounts and banking
- Recruitment, rostering, and management of staff
- Implementation and maintenance of uncompromising standards of care
- Leading and developing the team and maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Problem solving and teaching from any issues that may arise

**The Successful Applicant**
- Experience in the Veterinary industry preferred although not essential, but a proven ability to ensure an excellent client experience in a previous management role is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent and confident with most administration tasks
- Ability to work in a changing environment, and remaining calm in difficult situations
- High attention to detail and time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines
- Proactive and positive work ethic and attitude, willing to support the team wherever needed.
