As the **Technology Portfolio & Planning Manager** you will be responsible for:
- ** Portfolio Management and Reporting**: Managing the Technology pipeline of work, ensuring that it meets Technology and business needs. Analysing strategic content and reporting on all elements of the portfolio, including budget and cost; delivery and value (OKRs); manpower; and demand and capacity.
- ** Prioritisation and Planning**: Engaging and communicating with key stakeholders across the business and aligning initiatives to business strategies. Creating and facilitating the governance and prioritisation process across business units and Technology domains.
- ** Investment Planning and Budgeting**: Supporting the budgeting process and development of business cases, in close collaboration with business stakeholders and Technology leaders.
- ** Agile delivery capability, processes and frameworks**: Drive continuous improvement of team capabilities and business processes. Lead the Technology teams’ adoption of agile ways of working through coaching, delivery framework optimisation and forums (E.g. BA Chapter, Scrum of Scrums)
The Technology Portfolio & Planning Manager will engage and liaise with Technology team members and stakeholders across the business and provide an enterprise view of work and prioritisation and obtain understanding of business strategies and specific Technology requirements.
The role will drive, manage and facilitate the prioritisation process, identifying synergies, impacts, dependencies and conflicts and planning within capacity, resourcing and cost constraints.
The Technology Portfolio & Planning Manager will develop and maintain Ways of Working frameworks, tools and processes and coach delivery teams on adoption of agile Ways of Working.
**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience**:
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a relevant role in IT, Digital, Ecom
- Certified in one or more agile frameworks (Scrum preferred)
- Experience working with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) highly desired
- Experience in aviation and / or travel related industry preferred
- Experience with large scale / enterprise level programs and initiatives
- Proven track record in engaging a large range of stakeholders, preferably in a matrix organisation
- Experience in a fast paced, dynamic and lean / cost conscious environment
- Experience in a scaled agile environment
- Exposure to executive and senior management
- Formal training / qualification in portfolio management and agile methodologies are desirable
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to lead & manage teams.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of commercial practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex thoughts and ideas clearly to a variety of audiences
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
