An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Office of the Executive Director in the First Peoples-State Relations Group as Executive Assistant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
We recognise Victoria's First Peoples as the self-determining drivers of Aboriginal affairs in Victoria. We are committed to building ongoing, just and respectful relationships between self-determining First Peoples and the State as a priority focus.
About You
- Demonstrated experience to perform high quality support activities to senior executives, including proof-reading and processing briefs, correspondence and products for senior executives and the Minister.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with sound experience planning, prioritising and managing the execution of a range of competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to handle difficult and sensitive communications well.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of processes, policies and procedures within government and public sector accountability, with proficiency in Outlook, HP Content Manager, FinCloud, Adobe and Microsoft packages.
