**About the Role**

**Essential Criteria**
- Completion of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Australian residency and valid full working rights.
- A strong alignment with Christian values, fostering a nurturing and faith-based environment.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work positively in a team setting.
- Strong focus on building meaningful relationships with families and promoting a sense of community.
- Dedication to the holistic development of children, incorporating Christian principles and values into daily interactions and learning activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality education and care in alignment with Christian values.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Design and implement children’s programs that align with the EYLF, promoting growth in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.
- Ensure compliance with the OH&S Policy by maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, with particular care for children with medical needs such as allergies, asthma, or anaphylaxis.
- Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, injuries, illnesses, and medication administration.
- Uphold the center’s philosophy and Christian ethos in all aspects of daily responsibilities.
- Engage actively with families to share updates on children’s progress, daily activities, and milestones.
- Observe, document, and assess children’s development, tailoring support to meet their individual needs.
- Prepare and maintain a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
