The role of Assistant Director involves supporting the Centre Director in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and fostering a positive work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and guidance to educators to deliver engaging programs
- Supporting the Centre Director with administrative tasks, compliance, and operational duties
- Nurturing strong relationships with children, families, and staff members
- Taking on the Centre Director role when required
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and quality care
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A diploma or bachelor's qualification in early childhood education approved by ACECQA
- Previous experience in a leadership or deputy role within early childhood settings
- Sound knowledge of national quality standards and early years learning frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- A passion for creating safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments
