**About the Assignment**

The Santos Upstream PNG Operations Division has responsibility for safe, reliable and sustainable production and efficient operations of our operated and non-operated reserves in PNG, including regulatory approvals, reporting, JV interfaces and relations with the communities and landowner leaders in our operational footprint.

The PNG Operations Division is fully enabled, with clear ownership and accountability of stakeholder management, people and culture, business performance and project delivery, serviced by the Centre.

Within the PNG Operations Division, the PNG Development and Projects department supports the Project Delivery Process (PDP) for pre-FEED stage Major Capital Projects, all project phases for smaller to medium size projects, as well as providing Project Services support to Drilling / Well Services.

This Project Services group centrally supports the PNG project portfolio with this role to provide support across the full PNG project and Drilling portfolio.

**Tasks include**:

- Manage the transactional activities for PNG projects (Developments & Projects);
- Ensure the proper registration, validation and reporting of Invoices and actual costs that are charged to projects;
- Ensure appropriate approvals in line with Santos authority (DOA);
- Ensure accurate preparation of purchase requisitions;
- Prepare month end activities (Invoices processed / PO’s raised in readiness for accruals);
- Manage transactional processes from Coupa all the way through to Accounts payable;
- Ensure all payment allocations are directed to the appropriate cost accounts;
- Ensure that agreed plans, procedures, systems and guidelines are correctly implemented;
- Support cost control as required;
- SES invoices and submit to Accounts in line with agreed payment terms;
- Liaise with vendors as required;
- Identify potential cost savings / efficiencies;
- Process all contractor invoices on a monthly basis;
- Maintain a high level of communication with Accounts Payable to ensure smooth transition to payment; and,
- Assist in Project Closeout in all matters relating to cost transactions and Purchase Orders.

**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**

**Location for this assignment is Brisbane working full-time office hours**

**About You**
- SAP experience
- Familiar with the use of custom computer software systems used for cost processes
- Ability to prepare and coordinate approval of invoices and management of vendors
- Analytical / technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving
- Experience in cost and transactional data entry
- Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders (Procurement and Contracts)
- Demonstrated experience engaging with external stakeholders
- Demonstrated interpersonal / teambuilding skills
