About the role
In the role of Land Transaction Officer in the Compensation and Conveyancing team, Land Transaction Services (LTS), you will undertake the administrative processes required to ensure land is acquired, disposed of and recorded in the department's asset register using procedures that are compliant with relevant legislation and departmental policies, guidelines, and standards.
The role will include but not limited to;
- Provide advice in relation to land transaction and land asset matters, practices and processes.
- Prepare contracts of sale/disposal and associated documentation, undertake required searches and liaise with internal and external clients and/or client representatives, calculate settlement payments, and attend settlements in relation to property acquisitions and disposals.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders (both internal and external to the department).
