In the role of Land Transaction Officer in the Tenure Management team, Land Transaction Services (LTS), you will you will process documentation associated with the correction of land titles for property acquired for transport corridors, including resumptions and acquisitions from other government agencies.
The role will include but not limited to;
- Identifying and undertaking appropriate land transaction procedures, including survey requests, amending Taking of Land Notices, road openings, road closures, subdivisions and amalgamations across the full spectrum of land tenures and interests.
- Providing advice in relation to land transaction and land asset matters, practices and processes.
- Updating, maintaining and accurately entering data into the relevant property database systems to ensure the information is captured correctly and in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assisting the Land Transaction Advisors in training and mentoring the Land Transaction Support Officers to ensure staff are adequately skilled and knowledgeable in their roles.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders (both internal and external to the department).
