Operations Coordinator

**Job Description**:
Due to recent growth within our service department, we are seeking an energetic and team orientated Operations Coordinator, with a main responsibility of day-to-day coordination and providing technical supervision of the technicians engaged on Pilbara operations. The position will be Perth-based and report to our WA Service Manager in Perth WA.

**Position Purpose**:

- Liaising with customers and senior technicians to establish cost effective scopes of work for jobs.
- Quoting to customers for potential jobs.
- Work with FIFO (Admin) scheduler to ensure all resource (personnel and materials) movements are on schedule.
- Visit customers regularly throughout the region to further develop the external and internal business opportunities of Bosch Rexroth.
- Work within the framework of the NW strategy to achieve goals and milestones as agreed.
- Jointly accountable for NW business development in conjunction with the branch Business Development Manager.

**Specific Tasks**:

- Serves customers needs by studying the system requirement and developing proactive responses to Faults, maintenance or modernisation topics.
- Liaise with FIFO technicians to ensure all work is completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with the FIFO technicians to ensure their needs are met (within reason).
- Works closely with the Business Development manager in networking with customers and prospects.
- Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, identify any spare parts sales opportunities.
- Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records. Informs Service Manager when the job is ready to be invoiced. (all service reports and time sheets to be completed daily).
- Work with all departments/ business units (engineering, sales and/or other dept) to resolve customer issues.
- Notify the Internal Service Supervisor of any equipment that has being sent back to the workshop for strip and assessment, overhaul etc.
- Accurate completion of service documentation including having Service Reports signed by the customer or the customers authorized representative (Service reports should also be filled in daily).
- Maintains and keeps records of tools and tool Kits in workshop and service vehicles, review quarterly.
- Ensures quality control through documenting of tests and installations.
- Perform other duties as directed from time to time to meet Bosch Rexroth’s business and operational requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**Position Requirements**:

- Mechanical fitter trade or equivalent.
- 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience.
- Familiar with Pilbara mine site environment’s or similar.
- Competent level of hydraulic knowledge.
- High focus on Quality and attention to detail.
- Dynamic performer and achiever.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
