Who you are?
We are seeking applicants for the position of a Operations Manager at Bureau Veritas Minerals’ Perth Trade Laboratory In Malaga, WA. The position will be working closely with the Laboratory Manager to manage the Standard & Reference operation, ensuring that the business performs at an optimal level to exceed in meeting customers’ expectation.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Conduct HS&E training and toolbox talks as required
- Coordinate and manage the workflow meeting customers’ expectations
- Plans, writes and delivers training programs for employees, trainees and lower technical levels
- Perform and supervise a range of routine test work within set guidelines and priorities
- Be the main liaison with existing clients to ensure client expectations are maintained
What will you bring to the role?
- Sound leadership skills
- Possess a sound knowledge of occupational health and safety, industrial relations and communications processes and is able to use this knowledge in training and leading the work of others.
- It is desirable to have Exposure to Minerals testing
- Formal qualification in chemistry
- Customer Focussed
- Ability to solve problems that arise in the course of his work
- High standard of integrity, commitment and accuracy
