**Job Description**:
We currently have a **permanent full time position** available for a Health Safety and Environment Coordinator in our Malaga, WA office.

The successful applicant will need to possess a comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental national regulations.

**Specific tasks include**:

- Implement and monitor Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental KPI's for the branches, report on progress.
- Provide training and mentoring for Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental support for region.
- Coordinate and Review Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control process.
- Support corporate Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policy deployment.
- Carry out HSE audits in compliance with N93 A6 and Quality audits.
- Ensure ongoing compliance against ISO 9001 (Quality Management System).
- Development and implementation of a risk reduction programme for region.
- Need to perform other duties from time to time to meet business and operational requirements.
- Assess workplace repairs, installations and any other work that could impact employees safety, suggest and implement key improvement initiates.
- Investigate and implement prevention mechanisms regarding safety breaches and incidents.
- Provide open comminications with WA serivce manager and branch management regarding HSE topics.
- Address branch staff on a monthly basis regarding safety issues and topics (during monthly branch meeting).

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
- Minimum Diploma in OHS/WHS
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar HSE role
- Trade qualifications desirable
- Qualifications in a recognised Incident Investigation Methodology
- Training in first aid
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and administration skills
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
