**About the role**

This is a unique opportunity to join our Customer Operations team. The primary purposeof this position is to own and manage the end-to-end Customer Onboarding process and performance for our Large Market customers whilst defining the strategy and customer onboarding experience within Origin Zero. This includes post-sale customer account establishment through acquisition, retention, new connections, move in, management of metering and performance as well as key customer journeys and touchpoints through the customer setup life-cycle. The role ensures that all market processes and transactions are executed efficiently, accurately and to agreed timeframes to fulfil critical customer, operational and regulatory requirements. The role also manages the performance and relationship of key third parties such as Metering Coordinators, and other Market Participants.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage relationships with Origin Energy's top 15,000 business customers, who contribute over half of the company's revenue
- Own the end-to-end process for Customer Onboarding and provide key matter expertise for the process area across all aspects of market and metering transactions
- Develops processes and procedures to improve customer experience and optimise the customer journeys of the process area ensuring compliance to regulatory and industry requirements
- Provide management insights and reports to inform overall health of the process area
- Analyse performance trends including those of third parties to drive improvement as well as identifying areas for automation
- Define the strategy for execution by the operational team whilst monitoring and working closely with them to respond effectively to changing demands
- Manage the performance and relationship with key industry third parties
- Provide input into industry and regulatory change

A lateral thinker, you are analytical and passionate with strong industry and market metering experience. You know how to lead people and projects and foster a culture that goes above and beyond to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Desirable;
- 5+ years energy industry experience with tertiary qualifications In Business Administration, or related field
- Leadership experience in a dynamic cross-functional customer service operating environment
- Exceptional communications with customer experience and strategy experience
- Extensive knowledge of AEMO procedures, Large Market metering and associated regulatory frameworks
