**About the role**:
The Product Owner is responsible for leading internal and external teams to realise the product vision by managing the product backlog, defining user stories and working with the design and development team to build the best solutions for customers ensuring the right initiatives are delivered at the right time to realise maximum value.
**What you will be doing**:
- Represent the customer across the business, ensuring the highest value customer problems are being solved
- Ensure requirements are captured and managed through the whole development process
- Work closely with the development team during the build phase to clarify and update requirements as needed
- Undertake competitor benchmarking exercises in all your product development initiatives, to help create best in class product ideas
- Use market data and insights to influence your decision making and direction of thought
- Identify and draft where the gaps are in our product offering / user experience as well as documenting high-level requirements, user journeys and process flows, for our development teams
- From idea to launch, working closely with the UX/UI team to bring the initiative to life
- Internal and external Stakeholder management and engagement
- Continual testing during development to ensure quality control
- Release management, ensuring the release process is efficient and the business is aligned
- Prepare relevant documentation that can be shared internally and externally to communicate the changes released
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Knowledge and previous experience working on end-to-end product development as a Product Owner or in a similar role in another team.
- At least 3-5 years prior experience as Product Owner
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, IT or related discipline
- A sound ability to build effective relationships, both with internal and external stakeholder.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving mindset and skills
